perfect base for exploring troutbeck and its stunning nature
My three-night stay was made all the better by the warm hospitality and the breathtaking views from the room's windows that felt like a painting, as well as the fantastic cooked breakfast that set me up for my daily explorations of nearby attractions like jesus church just a few steps away and the scenic trails around stagshaw garden less than 3 km down the road. it truly felt like a walker’s paradise.

Is it hype or the real deal?
Staying here was simply delightful! Friendly host providing homemade treats each day. breakfast options are exceptional—fresh fruits, yogurt, and a variety of cooked choices. Views from every room are breathtaking!
Navigating the three-story establishment may be tricky—guests with mobility concerns might find it challenging. Wi-Fi connectivity was quite inconsistent, a bit frustrating at times!

Great views and comfy bed. Wi-Fi was spotty, which was annoying.

Staying here with my big family was a treat! The breathtaking views of the fells made our mornings magical, and the cozy king room on the second floor was perfect for us. The breakfast options were top-notch, especially the fresh fruit and yogurt.
My wife says that having a play area for the kids would have made it even better.

Nestled in a serene setting, the vastness of the Kirkstone room stands out, complemented by daily treats like fresh milk and homemade cake. Breakfast featured seasonal products, making the start of each day delightful. While the single-track road access posed a challenge for those unfamiliar, the warm hospitality provided by the host made the journey worthwhile. being a three-story establishment means some stair navigating, which could be a consideration for those with mobility issues.
